Chee was consulting editor for Tibor Kalman: Perverse Optimist, a book about her mentor and one of the most influential designers of his time. She worked with Stefan Sagmeister on his monograph, Made You Look and with David Rockwell on Spectacle, a journey into the ways larger-than-life communal events create transformative experiences. Chee was author of the exhibition catalog for Isaac Mizrahi: An Unruly History, an exhibition she also curated at the Jewish Museum.
