Championing Creatives

Chee Pearlman is a curator at TED Conferences, where since 2016 she has selected speakers and collaborated with them to shape, refine, and electrify their ideas for TED's flagship events with a global audience of millions. Throughout her career, Chee has been a champion of creative practitioners — designers, artists, architects, storytellers, creators and visionaries pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Before joining TED, she served as Editor-in-Chief of I.D. Magazine, earning widespread recognition and numerous National Magazine Awards during her tenure. She also curated the Art Center Design Conference, co-directed the Chrysler Design Awards, and contributed to leading publications. Her advocacy has been realized through print, awards programs and live events.
